U.S.A. Sarina, Kansas - 12.6.1962

Gunfighters of the Old West.  Collectors Card - Doc Holliday.
Doomed to die of tuberculosis, Dr. John H. Holliday, dentist, had a philosophy of dangerous living. In the post Civil War years he traveled the West, frequently involved in trouble, until his death at the age of 35.

Dear Pennie,

Hope this bloke is one you like on T.V.  I don't remember the T.V. Do being as good looking as this real one.

Dear Timmy,

Haven't seen any oil wells yet, guess I'll see plenty when I get to Los Angeles, if I ever do.  I go through Cheyenne tomorrow, but am not stopping there this time.

     Love Nan

Gunfighters of the Old West - Collector's Card - Wyatt Earp
This western lawman lived a charmed and exciting life which took him throughout the West and Alaska.  Despite being involved in dozens of gun fights, he lived to a ripe old age of 81.

Dear Merry,

I think Wyatt Ear is a thoroughly nasty looking customer.  My overnight bag didn't get on the bus today, so I have no rain coat and it's raining cats and dogs.

     Love Nan

Dear Fish,

These sheep don't look as good as the Wollogorang ones do they?  They don't seem to have much to eat either, poor things.

     Love Nan
